1. Stump the Professor, Stump the Students (Bring a copy to class week 4 )
Type three phrases or acronyms (at least one of each) that you think I will not understand but which most or all of your classmates will understand (include what each means). I too will write a list of phrases that I think you will not understand but which nearly everyone in my generation will understand. We will then have a contest in class – Stump the Profess; Stump the Students. Put your name on the assignment and the meaning of each acronym or phrase (I won’t look at them until after the contest).
2.International Business Assignment (Bring to class week 5 )
Your company is about to open a branch in a foreign country (you choose the country). Write a two page memo with highlights about the country to assist them in conducting business there. What are the most important things your fellow employees need to know about business practices and cultural norms? Consult at least three sources and cite them at the end (examples of sources are listed below).

3.Social Media Posts: Blog and Twitter (Due week 6)
Select a company that posts on Twitter and has a blog. Write a tweet (with hashtags) and a blog in the same style as the company.
